Synopsis
A true story (except the lion bit): the troubled and redemptive family history of the singer/songwriter Benjamin Scheuer is told using a pride of cardboard lions, and their friends.
Director's BIO
Peter Baynton is an animator and film maker, and founder of Radish Pictures, an animation production company based in London, UK. He has a degree in Architecture from Cambridge University, and graduated from Central St Martin's College of Art and Design in 2006. His previous films Over The Hill (2007) and Save Our Bacon (2010) won several awards at film festivals around the world including the McLaren Award at Edinburgh. His first music video for Benjamin Scheuer, The Lion, has won five awards, including the Jury Award for Commissioned Films at Annecy in 2013, and a British Animation Award in 2014.
