Synopsis
Elmando is the story of a young Congolese child, born near the forest of Kivu. His peaceful life takes a tragic turn when his village is attacked and his mother is kidnapped. Inspired by true events, young Elmando is on an epic journey through a perilous yet beautiful Africa in search of her.
Director's BIO
b.1986- Anton Octavian is a Romanian animator and illustrator, living and working in Bucharest.
After graduating the University of West Timisoara, Faculty of Art and completed his studies in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Sculpture he started experimenting in a new medium, animation, and started producing and directing short films and music videos. His films are created through various techniques, from Rotoscoping and 2d to cut out and hand-drawn animation.Contacts
